About Me

I am interested in secure computing practices, wireless communication, and the long-term effects of technology on our society. I am currently working as a consultant for Neohapsis, doing activities ranging from network penetration and web application testing, to security program assessment. I love this work, as it challenges me to be constantly informed about everything happening in the technology world, and allows me to help people solve some really complicated problems. Prior to Neohapsis, I worked for Motorola providing consultative services around the secure implementation of Wireless LAN networks throughout retail and enterprise environments. I also spent several years working in the public safety communications sector, helping design communications networks for fire, police, and other first responders.

On a personal level, I live in Chicago with my amazing wife, and we are proud new parents of a baby girl. I'm also a big history buff, trying to learn as much about how we got to where we are today by studying the past. Other pet subjects of my interest include North Korea, Android phones, cooking, and speculative fiction. I also am a slow, but persistent, middle distance runner.

I hope this website provides a jumping-off point to the rest of my online presence - I'm pretty easy to find online, but have provided some links to my most frequent locations. Thanks for visiting!
